What are the different levels of KAMGMA Membership?

Regular Member is a manager of a practice of a Licensed Doctor of Medicine.


Associate Member is a manager of a medically related practice but not a Licensed Doctor of
Medicine, such as, but not limited to Dentists, Chiropractors, and Podiatrists.

Corporate Affiliate is a vendor/supplier that has a business relationship with medically related business that deals with patient care.


Life Membership is an active member that has disassociated themselves from a medical practice due to retirement or disability and was a listed as a regular member for at least 10 years.

What is the process of becoming a member of KAMGMA?
The proposed applicant completes the application online and/or mails to the KAMAMA PO Box.  Each application is then reviewed at the KAMGMA Executive Meeting each month.  Upon approval of membership the member will be notified via email confirming membership and membership level.
What are the benefits to becoming a KAMGMA Member?

The most beneficial aspects of membership with KAMGMA would be the contacts and friendships that can be gained by working together and talking about the medical events and changes occurring in our community, state, and nation. 

Other benefits may include, discounted costs for the KAMGMA monthly meetings, discounted costs for sponsorship at the conferences hosted by the KAMGMA, invitations to special events for members only, and access to the membership database and members only information available on the website.

Where are the KAMGMA monthly meetings held?
Our KAMGMA monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at Bearden Banquet Hall.  The Meet & Greet begins at 11:30 AM with the buffet line opening closer to 11:45 AM.  Meeting time and opening announcements will begin at Noon and the meeting concludes at 1 PM.
Do I need to be a member of KAMGMA to attend the regular monthly meetings?
No.  At this time attendance to the monthly meetings is not limited to members only, however we still encourage registration and prepayment for the monthly meeting to assist us with obtaining accurate information to plan for the proper number of guests at our meeting.
Is RSVP for the monthly KAMGMA meetings required?
No.  At this time we accept walk-ins at the time of the meeting, but RSVPs are recommended as it helps us to plan for the proper number of guests at our monthly meetings.
What are the costs of the KAMGMA monthly meetings?

You may pre-register and prepay online by credit card for the monthly meetings.  Payment by check or cash is also accepted at the door the day of the meeting.  Cost for the meetings are listed below:

$10.00             Regular Members*/Associate Members

$30.00             Corporate Affiliate Members

$30.00             Non Member Medical Managers

$45.00             Non Member Corporate Affiliates


*Potential Regular Members or Medical Managers visiting for the first time may receive one monthly meeting at a special rate.  (A “Regular Member” is a manager of a practice of a Licensed Doctor of Medicine).

Where can I find a copy of the KAMGMA By-Laws?
The KAMGMA By-Laws can be found on our website in the Documents tab of our home page.
I am a vendor or Corporate Affiliate Member and would like to sponsor a KAMGMA monthly meeting. What is the process to sponsor a meeting?
The schedule and details of sponsoring the meetings would be taken care of by our VP of Programs.  You may go to the "Leadership" tab on the KAMGMA homepage and email the VP of Programs directly with your questions.
